The only reason I'd like to find out is it means he wouldn't be in a Panther uni.

Yes to the fact that his future is no longer in the NFL, CFL doesn't sound out of the realm of reason

The CFL is full of high risk high reward players. Check downs don't lead to first downs. Clausen wouldn't make it because of the pressure that would be coming. The CFL is awesome because it's full of guys that WANT to play and love the game. Almost all of them have a job and know playing football is a privilege they don't take likely. Granted it isn't the caliber of the nfl but to say the CFL's standards are suspect is someone taking a very in-educated guess. It's a "different" yet exciting form of the game.
