sure, but derek anderson was considered a starting QB in the league for years. when we got him he was considered washed up, a flash in the pan. and he may well have been. i'm comfortable with him backing up cam, and starting in a pinch, but in no way could he be considered a long term solution.

and, of course, keep in mind that a few wins closer to mediocrity instead of bottom feeding and we may well have ended up rubbing our hands with excitement over a shiny new defensive tackle or cornerback in the 2011 draft instead of an individual with the potential to be the greatest football player of all time.

You do realize he is worthless in any other offense, right? The guy had fuging Larry Fitzgerald to throw to and couldn't put up decent numbers. Why even being this up? Cam is playing against starters and DA is playing against back-ups.

Anderson has played like utter poo when has number has been called since 2007...with and without Chud. Backups always get a bump.

8-17 since 2007...and he was benched in Chud's offense for Brady Flipping Quinn.
