What rule changes this year? The seem to always change something...

The Open, or whatever they've decided to call the "race in" race this year, is 2 sections, both of which are 20 laps.

The All Star Challenge is 4 sections, 50, 20, 20 and 10 laps. I'm not sure after which sections they will be allowed park the cars to work on them though.

Hopefully by having a shoot out at for the last section it will prevent the anti-climatic finish of last year where Kasey Kahne walked away from the rest of the field for the last 10-15 laps.

Channeling my inner redneck and going to the truck race and All star qualifying tonight with my son ....weather permitting of course. Not sure I can handle a NASCAR event sober. Wish me luck!

I'm not sure, but since the first segment is 50 laps long, that will probably require a green flap pit stop...

I just received a Hospitality Pass this year from a friend and will be going to the Lowes Tent I guess. there's a meet and greet with JJ adn JG, and Rick Flair... :confused:

But, it'll be fun, cuz there's tickets involved too!

And JR, I'll not be drive'n this year, so I won't lose my car keys! WOO HOO!!

I hope so, but last year that went all 100 without a wreck. And I know in years past that they've had rules that in certain segments that you were required to make a green flag pit stop, I'm just not sure if they will have that rule this year or not.
