Bears just released him, after yesterdays move do you think Rivera would even entertain the idea of letting go of fua for him?

we have ron, and when back neblett who can play the nose both ahead of fua. price has pass rush ability with 3 sacks last year. 3 more than fua. could play behind dwan.

ron/neblett

dwan/price/kearse

dtackle position is looking better either way though

i know he's not. i was saying of our 5 tackles we have 3 that can possibly 4. ron, neblett, fua and i think frank kearse can as well, price is a 3 tech that could help get after the QB. but i think our D is much improved. i think dwan was a great addition. and once norman takes over the starting corner spot oppo gamble i think we can be a middle of the pack D which is all this team needs to win 10-12 games this year

alright the the raiders just cut Demarcus Van Dyke a corner.. hes better than josh thomas. they released him for joselio hanson. DVD is 23, he's 6'1 and runs a 4.2 40 he could at least be a solid nickel for us and special teams player.. his size would be alone would be an upgrade over josh thomas

I would take DVD in a heartbeat. Although I remember hearing somewhere last year that he was looking pretty bad and a lot of their fans were frustrated with him. But, his measurable alone are enough that we would need to give him a chance considering how weak we are at corner and how little depth we have there.

    • thats fair.   I was beginning to think rookie punter was in the plans
    • Sam Martin   CARPunter#6 Panthers re-signed P Sam Martin to a two-year contract. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Martin’s deal is up to $5 million. Martin joined the Panthers last season on a one-year deal and wound up booting 56 punts for an average of 47.2 yards per punt. Martin is a 13-year vet of the league who has spent time with four different franchises. He landed a career-best 48.2 percent of his kicks inside his opponent’s 20-yard line last season.
    • Surprised CB is that low.  19th is odd spot. For many recent drafts, teams only felt there were around 14 first round players.  So to many 19 is just an early second and doesn't hold the value of a first.  If you go off- the smart path of LT, QB, edge, WR, CB, etc. Whatever your OG, Safety, ILB, etc needs to be a difference maker, that's the key point. I've said the 8th best edge is better than the 1st safety. Same for QB and even WRs. You should 100% factor in position value.  MHS you've been wanting a FS, let me tell you its super difficult to be a difference making FS. You're just sooo farrrr away from the action and the end result most times. If you're in the play, defense made mistakes in order. Now to talk out of both sides, maaaaaann that white boy from Oregon....I thought he crushed the combine and honestly that alone made me rethink "is he worth 19 now?!?!" he's now in the discussion for me, but still below others.    Plus I feel TE is vastly underrated in value terms. But looking at the last 20 years of TEs in the first, its down right bad. You're better like X10 better drafting one in 4th or 5th.
