Yeah, when it happened, rather than being wrapped up in the emotion of the moment I was just thinking "He must have been cast in Game of Thrones or something," because him dying felt so out of place and forced. The character had a ton of potential that they never tapped.

I'm afraid this show might have jumped the shark at the end of last season with the cia twist. These kind of shows need to escalate and the stuff with the irish went organically, but everything since then seems forced. It's still entertaining though. I agree on the wasted potential of Opie.

Half Sack dead

A young actor best known for a role on the hit motorcycle club series "Sons of Anarchy" has been found dead outside a Los Angeles home along with an elderly woman.

The L.A. coroner's office has identified the male found by police outside a home in the Los Feliz neighborhood on Wednesday as Jonathan Kendrick Lewis, 28, also known as Johnny Lewis. Officers responding to a report of a screaming woman came upon Lewis' body outside of the home on the driveway, while the body of the woman who was in her 70s was found inside the residence.

I honestly don't have anyone on this show anymore that I would like to see live/stay out of jail. It's like when they killed Lem on The Shield. At least the end of that show ended in the perfect way, so I'll stick around to see how this one closes out as well.

What makes no sense to me is that all of the characters on this show could live in the houses they currently live in, drive the motorcycles they currently drive and wear the tacky leather duds and corny silver jewelry, all on the salary a decent mechanic already makes. Why are they willing to scrape and die for all this cash if they're going to constantly live like white trash anyway?

When Pope told Jax 'Be smart, it's who you are...' I couldn't have disagreed more. A smart Jax would have, put a bullet in Clay and his creepy mother's heads, married the post op tranny back when she still had two good hands and gotten the fug out of Charming! fug the rest of those guys. He's already proven he doesn't really give a poo about any of them anyway.

I will still watch the show out of curiosity as to who will die and how, but it's gotten a little ridiculous.

SPOILERS

I think it is still going strong. Opie was a favorite....but I don't think there was much left for him. All that was left was him getting revenge on Clay and that story line is going to be for Jax. Opie going down pretty much sets the stage for Jax to be a one man F the world wrecking crew.....

I think this season is setting up nice.

    • I'm not a Bryce hater and I would 100% move on.  Especially looking at how the upcoming qb draft looks on paper.  Hopefully he continues to improve but if in 3 seasons you're still chasing average season numbers then he's not going to be the guy.  You've just got to keep taking swings until you hit.  Average qbs without any elite physical traits cant get it done anymore.  So this year Hopefully he continues to develop and is above average statistically.
    • Meltdowns???? He was pulled by Canales because he wasn't executing the game plan after 2 games into the season so he could watch Dalton execute the offense and show Bryce the windows available in the NFL, how to push the ball down the field and how to step up and move around when blitzed. When Young came back 5 games later he clearly watched and improved. Enough he was named the future starter. He doesn't have a history of  meltdowns nor is there any reason to assume he will have one. From what I have read he is mentally strong and emotional stable. He may have bad games down the road, everyone does. But this is all a learning experience for him and so far he seems to be making progress. I can understand being hesitant on anything Panthers, but Young has surprisingly been able to gain his confidence after a disastrous start. You aren't alone in being cautious but I think he is the future. I thought he was too small and too short to succeed in the NFL. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised last year and am optimistic about the offense for the first time since Wilks and Dalton were decent.
    • The Rams wanted to trade up for Williams who they ended up within the end. They even told him that when they called him to let him know he is the pick. The other teams are only an assumption. Like the Cowboys, who took a guard. The truth is the team wanted to trade down first and foremost but couldn't get an offer the were happy with. They took McMillan because they felt he was bpa at 8 plain and simple.
