Can You Feel It?

excitement is deserved.

we beat one of the NFL's best offenses and persevered in situations where we've been found lacking every single time in the past.

I understand how big of a win it was for us and that we should be excited, but we really shouldnt get over excited. That only sets us up for major disappointment. And the way people act on here after a loss, I just don't think I could take it. Let's get more than one win and see how good we are before we start making statements.

I was one of the only ones last week, telling people not to worry about the loss. I also did not make any predictions in this thread.

Maybe read the thread before you reply?

i'm not gonna wait.

hell is about to be unleashed on the NFL by this team and we may have just seen the beginning of it.

the team that played yesterday could beat any team in the league.

this is a championship team in the making. playoffs this year are very reasonable.

But yesterday we seen the Panthers we expected to see week 1 we didnt come out mediocre and get slightly edged to go 0 -2 and say oh well we played better than last week at least, we actually came out and handled our business like we needed to. Last years team could not have done that, a team that was some silly errors away from being at least a 9 win team the point being they werent an awful team. Cam played unbelievable yesterday, worlds better even than anything he did last year. In fact week 1 Cam would have been considered a good performance for him last year. Really, a team that played like they did yesterday could beat anyone.

And I feel we'd have the best chance to beat the 49ers out of any team, come on think about it.

Oh dont get me wrong, I want to have all those warm gushy feelings about them to.

But the truth of the matter is the Redskins beat the Saints* at home and the turned around and lost to the Rams.

This could mean nothing. So could our win over the Saints*.

Ill be a bit more optomistic with a W Thursday night.

Like I said week one if we started out 4-0 i would be drinking gallons of the panther kool-aid! Now ill still drink at poo load of kool aid if we start 3-1 :-). 2-2 meh not bad maybe a half a gallon. Still gotta break the season into four quarters. Half way through a season you see what your team can do. 3/4ths through you see the possiblietes. The last 1/4th you see how much heart the team has.
