Injury report

from rotoworld:

Jonathan Stewart (ankle) was held out of practice on Tuesday.

Stewart isn't known to have aggravated his ankle injury versus the Saints, but coach Ron Rivera said he is concerned about his availability on a short week. Rivera concedes that he might not know Stewart's Week 3 status until Thursday morning. Be sure to have another option available at flex this week.

And we thought the panthers were in better shape with injuries than the giants...we could be missing stew TD bell....all significant contributors

I wouldn't read too much into them not practicing at the moment.. It's more likely they were just given the day(s) off...

My guess is they are just planning on resting them till the game. Is there really a point in rushing back Stew to a full practice? Stewart has missed many practices in the past only to play in the game. If he didn't re-tweak his ankle than I suspect they are just letting him recover from the soreness of the game and he will take the field on Thursday.

Hoping Bell can play through the pain and be ready to go also.

As for TD, if he is experiencing pain and soreness than just rest him this week and get him ready for Atlanta. With Luke, Beason, and Anderson we can make do. Would I prefer to have him out there? Of course, but I'd rather not run the risk of losing him for the season.
