Okay, how does Chud/Cam defeat it. I'm the biggest Cam hugger on the board (next to KT),but even Peyton had trouble with it in the dome, and your talking about a QB that can diagnose a defense in a split second. Cam...is still learning at this point in his career. Thoughts?

Well, Rivera was on Sirius yesterday talking about the one thing the Atl D was suspect to being beat with was the big pass play....

So it sounds like we are just rolling with our standard attack

as already mentioned several times...you run right at them.

i pray rivera's answer is just pure smoke, because if the panther's go to atlanta trying what they did against tampa bay...atlanta is going to cruise to another win.

Actually, he and the host seemed pretty excited when discussing the weakness of the Atl D....both agreed on it. Agreed the deep pass allowed SD to be in position to be in that game but they imploded and missed opportunities after it set them up.

san diego left 14 points on the field with two turnovers inside the atlanta 10. Granted one of them was in garbage time when the game was clearly out of reach but that may not have been the case if they had executed earlier.

they could have made it a much closer game but much of the margin of victory was thanks to the chargers shooting themselves in the foot.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
