Embarrassed by Jerry Richardson again: He was one of the leaders to keep refs locked out

you're amking the assumption that it was the owners fault that the refs weren't accepting what they offered and were stuck on this idea t that they, as part time workers, should be getting a pension. THAT was what the hold up was.

once they backed off that, a deal could be made.

Under the terms of the deal, pensions will remain in place for current officials through the 2016 season. New officials will get a 401(k) instead. The average official’s salary will rise to $173,000 in 2013 from 149,000 in 2011.

More importantly, we have been going in the wrong direction on this list for several years now.

product of a young franchise after a few bad seasons

we could shoot up the list considerably with just a couple of good seasons because we've only played 17 seasons.

Meanwhile, the cards are never going to turn around their overall winning percentage after that many decades of sucking.

well maybe in the historical sense. i get what you're saying though.

i get the vibe of the ravens after 2008 when harbaugh was hired from the texans. they're seriously about to take off as a franchise and be in the playoffs every year for a long time.

Do you see anyone giving Rivera 6 years to get his first winning season like it took Kubiak?

Is this the list since 1996? Because, no lie, I could give a poo that the lions were awesome with Bobby Lane in the 50s.

Yeah I wanted one from 1995 but that would be very specific and not something I could just copy and paste from an internet source.

Edit: actually here's the list from the 2000s (that's without the Jimmy Clausen/ Cam Newton era)

Ranked 19

Yeah, that's about what I figured. Tied for 17th. Middle of the pack.
