Embarrassed by Jerry Richardson again: He was one of the leaders to keep refs locked out

Do what you must. But if Hatter comes in the Bobcat forum again talking that racist BS he spews against our front office, you better take this "Ive had enough" tone too Kurby.

I would think you know I keep it pretty even keel on such.

If something is going down in the Bobcats forum report it and I will deal with it accordingly.

Haha the big bad Internet cop is throwing his weight around via the interweb. Stop derailing threads and calling out posters who have every right to express their opinion on these boards Kurb or I will ban you. Nope I'm not lucky enough to hold a badge like you. And Agreed with king,

Black or white it's impossible to defend JR

The Bobcats are a failing business.

Again, this isn't complicated.

The Panthers are a losing organization. If JR Richardson didnt have the luxury of running his business in his own backyard (imagine JR tryna run a team in Chicago or Florida or California. LMAO) his would be failing financially as well.

It's cool to have fans.

My internet ego is vindicated.

I am thankful for the team that Mr.Richardson has provided me - but it's becoming more and more apparent that he is stuck in the past.

Mr. Richardson, just like his puppet Marty Hurney, is becoming harder and harder to defend.

If we ever have to play a game in London I might lose it.

The Panthers have been out of the playoffs longer than the Bobcats.

You still post here?

I saw your twitter handle a few weeks ago. Good to see you're now a hockey insider, too.

Hey bro I admit that it's becoming more difficult to rationalize what Mr.Richardson is thinking and the frustration with the franchise is building.

When I read in that other thread it was 2008 when the Panthers last were above .500 in the regular season, it pissed me off.

Firing his sons, trying to put down two super bowl MVP quarterbacks, refusing to spend money on the team pre lockout, calling out Sherrod Martin after last season, making comments about Jim Harbaugh, and not caring about the integrity of the league with the referee situation goes to show the kind of man he really is.

Yes JR hates the integrity of the NFL so much that he's the only owner with the NFL logo at the 50 yard line.

Jerry has always cared more about his bank account than the team or the fans. Jerry is more of an NFL executive who happens to own a team, than a regular owner. That's why he has the NFL shield on his field because he can't begin to give a poo about his team, the same team that sells itself regardless of success. The fans here make it really easy for Jerry to make money, so I'm not at all surprised he would stop giving a poo eventually. I don't have any problem continuing to love this team despite thinking the owner is a complete fraud, but I'll admit, it's pretty strange.

I am glad out of everything I listed that is what you go out of it. My point is he is cheap and fake, and is one of the owners who would rather lock players or refs out so he doesn't lose a penny. Not every owner is like that but he is one.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
