Your Realistic Predictions For How We Finish The Season

Maybe he likes you.

Well, he said he was thinking about me when we punted on 4th and 1.

Made a reference to gargling cum and called me sweet pea.

And now, said I remind him of his girlfriend, err, I mean 12 year old sister, whom he happens to keep tabs on when it comes to her period.

Below is what I posted in this thread:

Nothing much has happened to change my opinion.

I hate to write it but I am not sold on the Defenses ability to stop the run or cover the pass. Add in a sophmore slump for Cam due to defenses game planning him specifically and we wind up better but not there yet at 7-9.

LOL @ 1-3 team saying schedule isn't tough.

Bring on the "cup cakes"

Oh we are the cup cake team :(

Okay, I will play....name a team on our schedule not named Atl that you think is a legit top tier team?

That is 1 game, we get at home, and we had them beat in the dome. Atl is the only legit team......the rest of the schedule isn't hard. Winnable. No reason for this team not to finish with 7 or 8 wins.

We also average 30+ points with a healthy offense this year. That doesn't make us cupcakes.....Just like last year we should be in every game for here on out. That is realistic

This.

The first quarter of our schedule was extremely tough, but the problem now is we have dug ourselves a hole AND have some serious problems and lingering issues to deal with going forward now that we're 1-3.

Unless our guys mentally transform in a week, hold onto that through the bye week and come back with it, this kind of start and these last two losses are hard to shake off...

We started 1-5 last year......and won 6.

with our schedule, no reason this team shouldn't win 7-8 if the offense stays healthy.

if we come in with the fire and attitude of today's performance against a top three NFL team we should be in every single one of those games. what we did today should be enough to beat at least seven of the teams on that list.

That's what I tried to keep in mind when going through it... I just really hope the way we lost these games doesn't affects us negatively going forward. If we can keep the mentality we had today in regards to physicality and shore up the execution as well as tackling in general on the defensive side, we could string together several wins.

    • Yes, it tells me they’ve improved significantly from sitting at what, 30-31st in the league on the PP to 11th now.
    • I wanted someone to hire him so we got the picks, but I'm also not upset that he'll now be back. I genuinely don't understand why so many fans on here dislike him so much.  No, he's not perfect and made some mistakes this year, especially at the end of the playoff game and going so soft in coverage on the final drive. But considering this place torched him all offseason for us having the "worst defense in NFL history" last year.  Said in the whole pre-draft process how we had to go defense in round 1 because of it and then complained the rest of the offseason that we didn't do enough to improve the defensive roster. How do people say all that about the defense and then complain when he turned that same unit into a pretty respectable defense this year.  They were really the only reason we were in a lot of games for most of the season, as the middle part of the season they really stepped up and were playing like one of the better defenses in the league. I don't see any reason we can't improve even more next year if we spend another offseason focusing on adding pieces on that side of the ball, which we should be able to do with our draft picks and cap space.
