Marty...I'll take Johnthan Banks for $200...

Playoffs or loosing record, it doesn't matter. We need CB help. For that matter we also need Safety, and DT help as neither Dwan nor Ron are <25 years old. I hope Frank the Tank continues to improve to eliminate a 1st round pick at DE.

My vote on 10/1/12 is Mr. Johnthan Banks, CB from Miss State.

His daddy could play, that's fo sho.

Which is more critical to us? S or CB? So many holes......................

In my opinion safety....Norman could turn out to be a pretty decent player, he's playing pretty well for a fifth rounder (last two games have been iffy)

safety, however, has been neglected for years now. This upcoming draft is really deep at safety position, we could double dip and go safety and corner with our first two picks.

If you go safety, go Vaccaro, Texas.

I'll take Eric Reid, thanks.

As the "centerfielder" on a team blessed with such talent at pass rusher and cornerback, it would be easy to characterize Reid as simply a product of the system. In reality, Reid is a terrific prospect in his own right.

He possesses the ideal build and athleticism for the position, shows excellent instincts and is a scrappy, tenacious defender whose big hits and ball skills make him a legitimate weapon in the deep patrol.

Scouts would like to see him wrap up a bit more securely rather than leading with his shoulder, but this is precisely the concern I had with Alabama's Mark Barron a year ago. Barron, who frankly, struggled more with his open-field

tackling than Reid has thus far, was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the No. 7 overall pick. That's about where I anticipate Reid could end up should he enjoy another stellar season for the Tigers and elect to make himself eligible for the NFL a year early.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
