Mike Tolbert

I love Tolbert, I haven't been this excited about a free agent signing since Keyshawn Johnson. But he has not lived up to the pass catching bowling ball he was in SD. He's had some solid blocks and a few catches, but nothing like the rocket rolley-polley I expected.

In other words, get it together Chud!! I want to see this freight train pound out some 4th and 1 conversions.

I was expecting to see more motioning with Tolbert. Just hasn't happen! The 2 TE set is our best formation but we don't have enough talent at the second TE spot to use it as often as we did last year.

I'm also expecting to see Olsen lined out wide a lot again this week, especially since Seattle plays a lot of man defense.

Deangelo Williams-$42 mill contract-167 rushing yds, 2 TDs, 4.0 YPC

Jonathan Stewart-$38 mill contract-91 rushing yds, 0 TD, 4.3 YPC

Cam Newton-$22 mill comtract-167 rushing yds, 3 rush TDs, 5.1 YPC

Tell me again why Hurney still has job?

Tolbert is a FB, his main role in our offense is blocking, short passes, and short yardage.

Hurney was instructed by the big cat to pay the "core" you cannot fault him for that. Big Cat promised D-will, Kalil, CJ and Beason that he would make sure they were taken care of and they were.

Tolbert is a RB with a FB title.....that is what he got. He hasn't been lead blocking for RBs much the past few years not sure why so many thought we got a new Hoover and were going to ground and pound

carolina doesn't have the defense to play any ball.

Green bay allowed the Saints to score 27 points. So did we.

Denver allowed Atlanta to score 27. We held them to 30.(Should have been 27)

So there are two teams with d-fenses that are widley considered better than ours and yet the results are almost identical.

So this says one of two things, either the Packers and Broncos D isnt as good as people would think or the Panthers D is better than people would think.

Here is one more just for fun.

We allowed the Bucs to score 16 points at home, the next week they flew to Ny and put up 34 points againts the defending superbowl champs.

If you look at the games played in 2012....our defense has held teams to field goals in the red zone many times....the biggest issue's on defense are the DBs who bend WAY too much and typically do break.

The biggest issue is Hurney's throw away and rookie players filling at starting positions...then there is Rivera. He doesn't know how to win or close out games....period.
