We are looking to buy a new-used car

What could we get for less than 10K cash? We want something that doesn't have a lot of miles on it. Not a truck, van or gas guzzling suv, crossover maybe. Something that is comfortable to ride in and a family type. Preferably a GM or foreign.

Has anyone ever bought a car from ebay? good luck with it?

anything over 80-90K

we don't care much about the age provided that you can buy parts for it

The problem we are running in to now is because we have older cars is they aren't making parts for them anymore so we are having to get parts from salvage yards.

We will not make payments on anything. We always pay cash. I don't want to owe anyone anything.

Get a Toyota. Also..research used car ratings before you buy. An online subscription to Consumer reports is worth it.

A few years ago I bought a 92 Camry wagon with 140,00 miles on it for $3000. Traded it in with

260, 000 miles on it. I spent $220 on repairs the entire time I had it. Should have kept it longer. Bought it based on Consumer reports ratings. Would not make a major purchase without them.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
