Is Charlotte ever going to get the chance to host a Super Bowl

Hotel space, not to mention the fact that Charlotte generally sucks. Raleigh ftw.

I would love to have the resources to bring a team to Raleigh... Based on the size it's expected to expand in the upcoming years and the way they rally around the Canes (they even raise hell during the game, WHAT? lol), I think it would be a great place to bring a franchise.

Raleigh...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Get back to me when you become an actual city, champ.

That said, the weather will keep the Super Bowl out of most teams' stadiums. I heard some rumblings to change that, but I don't see it ever happening.

There's no way, because on the barely-in-the-realm-of-possibility chance that the Saints ever make it to the big game, they can't risk a gust of wind or a chill in the air throwing off Brees and their passing game. The Super Bowl will be played in a dome or on the equator for the rest of time.

It's funny that Jerry Richardson originally planned a stadium about 15,000 smaller and was convinced that he needed to upgrade in order to have a shot at a Super Bowl and still doesn't have a shot...

Of course he sells it out anyway, so it's a win/win...

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
