A little fun for NC folks...

I have never been Raliegh but I hear the Cane games are great. The fans are great, more into the game then Charlotte fans. A huge problem for Charlotte is all the transplants. We have so many people from up north here, who already have teams.

Raleigh couldn't handle MLB, NBA, nor the NFL...

Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill on the other hand MIGHT be able to handle MLB...

College Basketball would still rule the area though, and always would...

Keep in mind with all this Raleigh talk (don't get me wrong, I love Raleigh, and I work there every day) that they already lost an AFL team...

Never will happen Columbia would get a franchise before that other place would.

Columbia does not have the population that the Triangle does. Raleigh already has proven it will support a sports franchise. Some may argue that the Triangle (1.6 million+ people) can't support a franchise, but there is no way that an area with three quarters of a million people would get the nod over Raleigh. Ain't happenin'.

In Charleston we have the Stingrays (ECHL)and we lead the league in attendance and Charleston is only a hour and 15 minute drive away from Columbia and look at our Cocks we always show up to our home games... :o

South Carolina needs a major something(we do consider the Panthers a South Carolina team btw)..... I do enjoy Darlington as well.

There was even talk that the Stingrays could join the AHL but that didnt happen.

    • The only thing I know is nfl red zone.
    • We put a ton of high draft capital into young WRs over the past few years. We drafted a WR in top 2 rounds of the draft in 4 out of the past 5 years. At some point, we need to rely on the dudes we drafted vs relying on veteran role players. That's the only way we're going to evolve as a team and take the next step to going back to winning again.  Remember when Cam lost KB and everyone thought it was the end of the universe? And 2015 happened.  Maybe losing Theilen and Coker will open some opportunities for some other guys to step up.
    • So apparently in the time between the end of the last football season, and now, a TON of streaming sites have been taken down. From what I remember most of these idiotic offiicial streaming services that offer NFL games don't ever offer ALL of the games. I remember subscribing to one service on youtube last season that cost hundreds of dollars and it would still constantly tell me games were either blacked out or unavailable, which is totally ridiculous. Is there any one service that I can watch ALL of the games on?? It gets on my everlasting nerves already that there's so many different streaming sites and they are all expensive as hell. I don't want to take out an entire additional car payment to subscribe to 4 different streaming services to watch all the games. Is there just ONE I can subscribe to? The most comprehensive thing I have access to now is Sirius XM. It's only 10 ish bucks a month and I can listen to the home or away broadcasts of any game. Only thing is I can't WATCH the games but this seriously comes in handy if I'm out doing something, driving, or can't stay still at the moment to watch the games. But usually I'm off on Sundays, so I mostly want to watch them.
