Whoo, the Disrespect Begins!

Recommended Posts

THis is great. We love the disrespect card. We have a bunch of guys that now have something to prove and are being dissed. So I will be the first to say that it looks like another playoff run this year. We don't handle prosperity very well but we are best when it is us against the world.

we're under-ranked because we sucked so bad in the playoffs... and i gauruntee you every single man on that roster knows it, hates it, harbors a bitter grudge against it, and will come out playing with everything to prove.

bring the mediocre rankings all day long.

Only team immune to being destroyed in the first round is the Cowboys who always rank top 15 no matter how many times they fail.

Exactly....the Cowboys did not even make the playoffs....got absolutely destroyed in their finale (which would have gotten them in the playoffs).....lose the only decent WR they have....and still rank in the Top 10.

This within itself is proof that all of the "expert" talking heads are sheep...nothing but sheep.

You have to remember that most of these experts are ex-players....and the average NFL player scores at about middle school level on the Wonderlic Test......they are not exactly an intelligent bunch.

i also gauruntee you they are forced, to some extent, to give certain teams more hype whether or not they deserve it. Rank the cowboys outside the top ten - even if they deserve it (which they do) - and you've got a very large fanbase that's upset because some idiots put so much stock in such things as rankings.

the people that make these rankings are less idiot, more ratings instrument.

Rankings might as well be done by the fans cause all the darlings seem to make it to the top no matter how bad they are. Its crazy the Cards rank so low and they were in the SB last year and have lost no players.

    • This is what I mean. I am not some huge BY fan. I honestly don't look at QBs the way a lot of you guys do. Right or wrong, I've always looked at them as just another cog in the machine. Didn't want BY or even a trade up for a QB in 2023. We saw in the Super Bowl how important the rest of the team is on any given Sunday. Now... so PFF, who has no reason to prop up BY, says he's first in 2 stat lines and Panthers "fans" are arguing why it's either wrong or a made up stat just to make BY look good. Even though they have multiple stat lines where he's literally last in. Like 32nd in the NFL. Some he's even lower than 32. Take a step back. Try to objectively self analyze. This is just not sensible.  Same thing I see with other teams' fans and their QBs though. We analyze every single throw on every single play. For every other QB, most here are only using highlights to judge. Makes a difference. We saw Stafford miss throws when they played Carolina - both games. We saw Love throw crap up when they played Carolina. We saw Dak miss throws when they played Carolina - and Pickens was putting on a SHOW. We saw Josh Allen win a game with 163 yards passing against Carolina, but if BY does it he's crap and can't pass for 200 yards. Gents... come on.
    • None of us think we're contenders this season but no reason we're doomed to 5 or 6 wins either. Dan has to have another 2025- like draft class and at least 2 key free agent signings. We're not Seattle but they don't win without 5 starters from their last 2 draft classes and Darnold and Lawrence in free agency.  Alas,  we'll have to wait one more season for a QB upgrade.
