We are just as bad (if not worse) as the 2-14 Panthers.

i know you believe this. that's the funny part.

Everything I have said is fact though. Sure we might have added players since 2010 but again the two biggest impact players we have added are Cam and Luke and Luke is just playing in place of a already pro bowler Jon Beason so thats a wash. And Olsen at TE ill give you that

having an impact player at quarterback automatically makes this team better than the 2010 squad because the 2010 team's biggest problem by a mile was

...drumroll please...

quarterback

you really didn't watch a minute of that season did you?

Yes we know that Cam is awesome, Hurney is the devil, and Richardson is an NFL elitist prick.

No need to keep rehashing this points.

panthertrain doesn't actually believe that first part. he thinks we should be starting derek anderson instead.

So sitting here thinking, it hit me. It is laughable than many of us (myself included) thought we had a true shot at the playoffs. But really, why? When you really think about it, outside of Cam Newton, this team is the same exact team from 2010. I mean, can anyone honestly say we have made any improvements on one single position other than QB since 2010? Aside from Cam Newton our 2011 draft was a joke. You might say Kuechly, sure this guy has pro bowl potential all over him but he pretty much just replaced the already pro bowler MLB Jon Beason so thats a wash.

O line? We lost a great RT in Otah, a great guard in Wharton and replaced him with a division II rookie (a promising one yes). WR? Don't get me started at WR. This team has avoided upgrading the WR position like its herpes. We have a 33 year old WR, a great one yes but nonetheless a 33 year old, 5'9 WR when in today's NFL its the bigger sized WRs that are dominating.

So what have we done since 2010? Aside from Cam this is the same exact team from 2010. I mean it blows my fuging mind. I mean, how on earth can a NFL team go 2-14, keep the same GM and that GM goes and pay ungodly amounts of money to the same exact players on that same 2-14 team. Lol, I mean this is really the stuff a bad sports comedy movie is made of. It just BLOWS. MY. MIND.

Last but not least, you might be thinking. "Well, 2011 was such a improved season, I mean we went from 2 wins to 6 wins in just one year." Yea, about those 6 wins last year, lets talk about that shall we.. So who exactly did we beat last year.... Jacksonville Jaguars, the one team I am 100% confident we are better than, just garbage. Tampa Bay Bucs, a Bucs team that quit on their HC and played every game with the effort of a pre season game. Indianianoplis Colts, 2-14 Colts team that was fully in Suck For Luck mode. Last but not least, the Houston Texans. Ok, ill give you the Texans win but even thats being generous considering they just came off clinching the division a week before and probably werent in full force. Oh wait, I almost forgot. Washington Redskins, a team with John Beck at QB.. Need I say more?

SO. Lets recap. Since 2010 we have.. A. Upgraded at QB. B. Kept the same GM who in turned signed the same players from said 2-14 team and C. Have 6 wins in 2011 against teams who finished the 2011 season with a total record of 29-66. I hate to pour even more salt on the wound, but sonce 2010 we have ONLY beat teams with a combined win/loss record of 40-87. OUCH!! That salt stings.

We are a couple plays from being 3-2..calm down princess.

You obviously didn't watch more than a game or two in 2010. Admit it trolly.

Nothing you said is a fact, they are all your two-penny opinions.

Now had you said this year is more disappointing because of the expectations, then you would be right just stating the obvious.

    • These are the three deep throw attempts that Will Levis made in week 12. His first one is a beauty; Levis and Westbrook-Ikhine gets the safety to bite on a deep dig only to go over the top for the score. His second throw is another beauty: a crosser to Calvin Ridley reminiscent of Bryce to XL (though Ridley has noticeably more separation on his route). His third and final deep shot was an incompletion from his own endzone on 3rd & 14 with pressure coming down on him (to me, this seems like a solid throw).   Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-02.mp4 Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-01.mp4 Film Room Playlist NFL Pro.mp4 Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-01.mp4 Levis took half of the deep shots that Young did. The differences are: Ridley had much better separation than XL, which is why his deep crosser turned into a 63yd play since he was able to scamper for another 15+ after the catch. Westbrook-Ikhine holds on to his TD pass. Bryce had to throw one away to preserve time for a field goal. Bryce had two more throws that were incomplete due to the WR Are we really holding the three WR errors and clock management decision against Bryce in order to say that Will was better throwing deep in week 12? That's not passing the eye test nor is it confirmed by the data.
    • If you go on the PUP list before the season starts, you are gone for the year. If you start the year on the PUP list then you can get off of it. Kind of semantics, but we are putting him on the PUP list now which is before week 1, that’s why people who come off of it aren’t really on the PUP list until week 1, hence you usually hear right before the season that they are “starting the year” on the PUP list. I think PUP list and IR may basically be the serve the same purpose now because you also sometimes hear that if a player is added to the IR before week 1 that they aren’t eligible to come off the IR list for the entire year. Now, everyone added to IR (post week 1) can come off after 4 (or more) games so the PUP list is meaningless since it’s 6 games and starts at week 1. Anyone added to PUP or IR in the preseason is gone for the year.
    • I saw Brooks maybe a few weeks ago, he was walking pretty normally. of course he wasnt running, jumping and cutting.
