no.

too lazy to look for a link, but it'll be at least week 8 before he's considered.

Not true at all. He could very well suit up this weekend, although id be surprised if he did . they have 3 weeks from the day he practices (Wednesday) to keep him on the Pup, IR, or activate him... He could technically get the nod this Sunday.

We will however learn his fate by week 8

Can't imagine him making any difference.

I am wondering more how Murphy made a colbertesque disappearing act

One of the reasons none of the offensive guys are really showing out is lack of snaps by the offensive team as a whole. They cant sustain drives, cant get rhythm and basically suck.

this, a million times.

There are plenty of reasons, but like most people are saying, I blame the read option. It's a boom or bust play and it doesn't help the offenses rhythm at all. Running out of shotgun constantly is no good.

The play fakes are awful for Cam's footwork and timing. It always looks like he's throwing flat footed. I've seen him rush throws because he has his eyes downfield and wants to squeeze it in. I'd rather see him come out of the fake, in rhythm, survey, and step into his throw.

Gotta start looking specifically to hit LaFell, Olsen and Murphy underneath. Defenses can't take away both the deep ball and the shallow passes.

I would love to see us "roll the pocket" to let a big hitter delvelope...of course that would entail the guys up front actually blocking.

    • You would hope so. I’m confused why the sports world seems split on Bryce when he’s obviously not working out.
    • So let’s do the reverse? Make everyone agree everything he does is a disaster? I also think the whole “gaslighting” is on the eye of the beholder. It went from he can’t avoid one single sack countered with he actually did that well Sunday (with data backing it) to a little breakdown of why he is so bad. People are going to have different opinions. I’m also not going to pretend this wasn’t happening Day one with this little QB.
    • All this great stuff he has done, how often does he do it?  I have it at three or four games out of 14 where he was very good and then you get a drive here or a series there where there are some good things. Here is the gaslight part: everyone has put him on a curve with his first year the baseline, neglecting to understand how bad he was then. Even if he comes back twice as good, where does that really leave him? 25th ranked or thereabouts.     He had so far to go, and still does, it is a Major ‘settle’ to accept his play as worthy of giving him our future.  You want to settle when the Bucs have Mayfield, and the Saints have overtaken us at QB? We will be third in the division at QB. That is good enough for y’all?
