I really want Luke to stay in the middle even when Beason returns. He is literally everywhere. When he isn't making a tackle he is in position to stop a big play if a tackle is broken.

Beasons too good of a talent for a b or c but I do feel kuechly should be in the middle for sure he's all over the damn place, beason either plays a diff lb spot or trading becomes only other sensible option

we should keep beason around because

a) thomas davis has a really fuged up ACL

B) james anderson is, all things considered, the least talented of the four LBs we have

though his contract for starting at WLB is now quite ludicrous. oh well.

Can't just do anything to cut ties with beason because that would be too rash.....but Luke really needs to stay in the middle!!!!! Dude is straight up great in the middle

I wouldn't put that solely on Beas... It has something to do with the stability of the unit as a whole because not only is Luke in the middle, but TD is now playing full-time as well, whereas before, they were all rotating in an out.

Now they have a defined starting group who play full-time. Luke has been incredible, but paired with TD and they are uber-incredible. I think the defense's improvement is due to them as a tandem.

move beason outside to his natural spot... maybe he'd rather play the Mike. tough poo. you came into this league as an OLB, Luke came in as a MLB... its the logical move.

everyone wrote TD off, and look at him ... playing pretty damn good for a guy whos had 3 major injuries.

can't believe how many people are ready to give up on Beast

that said do I think he could stand to lose 5 or 10 pounds to get lighter and quicker this offseason.... absolutely, starting to look a bit too much like a bodybuilder if you ask me

I'm not ready to kick him out the door....but the linebacking core weve had the last two games is exponentially better than the 4 games before that with beason, were actually tougher against the run

Thomas Davis is just as big of a reason why our run defense is better.
