It's simple. Smitty is a match-up nightmare, but even if you cover him, Olsen is a mismatch on pretty much any linebacker or safety. Even then, Gettis' speed creates a problem. You simply can't cover all 3, and if you can, that means Lafell will be WIDE open. We should have wide open guys at times Sunday, which could mean Cam's first 400 yard passing day, as long as the OL holds up. Not CALLING for a 400+ yard passing day, but it's possible, based on the athleticism and talent we have at receiver/TE.

Foxy's D has Champ Bailey to cover Smitty, and the LBs to easily take care of the backs and Olsen. Our D needs to hold up to make this a low scoring game.

Champ Bailey isn't their best CB. Hell, he might not even be their 2nd best CB. Don't be surprised if Cam really struggles. Hopefully the offense finally shows up, but it's not likely.

It's just IMPERATIVE that we jump out to an early lead! That defense is completely different when they play with a lead. We need t get points the opening drive and just keep pouring them on.

I really hope that we get the ball first, and that if we do we put up points.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
