As we all know they will announce the lottery tomorrow night for 500mil but after taxes you will only get about half that 250mil.What would you do with your money?

I would buy my mom and dad a house and 2 cars.

I would buy me and my girl a house and 2 cars.

I would buy my sister a house and a car.

I would give all my family members a good amount of money.

I would invest in real-estate

Put the rest in the bank

i would still go to work. very late of course. then show up in shorts and flip flops or maybe even bunny slippers. barge into a giant important meeting and mock the speaker.

then maybe ask questions they can't answer and get some james brown played over the intercom system.

take a ton of random people from work out for drinks. i mean the possibilities are endless.

I would give the first 50 mil away to a couple of charities and foundations that I've worked with in the past. Then I'd take the next 50 and set up an investment endowment to continue some charity work. The next 20 would be divided amongst friends, family, and my local community via some different disbursement vehicles. The next 70 would become my own personal investment designed to live only off of the interest. The next 20 would be earmarked for future family stuff (business venture, take myself back to school, etc.). Another 20 would be set aside for my kids' expenses and inheritance. 10 would be a buffer for everyday living, and the last 10 would be for spending however we want, whenever we want.

And I'd do some stuff like Pstall. That would be fun.

I sure as fug wouldn't be sitting bleary-eyed in front of a computer at 8AM. I like my job, but I'd quit politely and immediately.

I'd help immediate family where needed/wanted.

I'd donate a ton to charities, particularly on the local level.

I'd set up the rest in a way so that I'm safe for the rest of my life. Kids would have accounts set up so they are safe as well, but they'd have to show responsibility and earn every penny. This part would be out of my control so any whining/begging would be pointless.

After extensive travel I'd eventually go to work for a local charity or non-profit. Something to make the place I live better.

I'd live in a very nice but modest home from the outside, but inside would be every conceivable highest-end audio and video product known to mankind.

Yes, we bought tickets yesterday. :)

    • What you are saying isn't always true and I'll give you several examples to demonstrate this. 1) The best player on the board at the end of in round 1 by all consensus is RB (top 15 player in draft who slips b/c of the devaluation of the RB position). Your team is in desperate need of a LT because the current one is getting your QB killed. You already have a serviceable RB in place. The LT has a 2nd round grade and you have the first pick on day 2 of the draft Who do you choose? 2) Your run defense was abysmal the previous season. A DT in round 2 does not provide much in terms of pass rush, but most reports have him rated as the best pure run stuffing DT in the draft. The two highest rated players on your board at the time are a TE and tweener at OLB/DE who slipped into round 2 after a run on WR's. Who do you choose? 3) Your pass rush rush is solid across the board. You even have guy coming off of the bench to provide production. Your secondary in below average. No Safety on the roster is a difference maker and as a unit the squad doesn't have an INT. The highest rated player on the board is a DE. The 5th highest rated player on the board is a an intelligent ball hawking Safety. Which player would make the team immediately better?  1) I think the BPA logic applies when your team is solid across the board and you can afford to draft for depth 2) I think it also applies when your team stinks and any solid player will be an immediate upgrade over what you already have. I agree that you should NEVER reach for a player when you are need at a position like we did for Bryce Young. But I also think if there's is a player on the board that will fill a glaring weakness you need to take him even if a player with a higher over all ranking is available at another position (which isn't a need)
    • Bryce Young excels at dividing Panthers fans. That seems to be what he's best at.
    • 184 yards game, 61% completion 11 tds 5ints    thats ranks :check notes:  25th in the nfl
