Where we pick in the draft scenarios is good or REALLY good

From what I can gather, if we win next Sunday against NO, and the Bucs, Jets, Browns, Jags, Eagles, Dolphins, Chiefs, Raiders and Cardinals loose, we get the 10th overall pick.

But if we loose and the Bucs, Jets, Browns, Saints, Rams and Dolphins win, we get the 4th overall pick.

I realize something in-between will happen. I hope we can draft a DT, O-lineman or secondary personnel that can compliment Cam and Kuechly.

What say you Huddle? Finish the season with a flurry, save Chico's job and roll the dice in 2013 with a Rivera lead team that has a top 10 rookie coming in or change horses and see what we can do with a top 4 pick?

Is there that much difference between a 4th and 10th player selected? Kuechly went 9th, anybody want to switch him for Matt Kalil (sorry Ryan)?

Just win baby, 2013 will be the year.

Black cats and 13 go together.

What's the hype with Hankins, a few people have busted his ass for taking plays off.

This might be 100% pure speculation but I assume that anyone against Hankins must be a complete homesexual

Now now, it's possible that everyone has a difference of opinion and that everyone's opinion is valid

Although it is more than likely that these people are just blind haters consumed with their phallic obsession

Yeah you probably just hate Hankins cause you love the cack, just admit it

Don't lie, you've got a whole ghey buttsxe thing planned on for the whole evening and are just killing time on a message board until the first wave of "bros" stop by

Whatever you've got going on, it's cool. No judgement. I'm sure I've seen pictures of even worse across the internet. Well... maybe not.... but just don't show me what you've been doing. It's cool bro, just do that whole... uhh.. thing... you got going on... Anyway, vote Hankins for 2013.... unless you're into ghey gangrape buttshex

The recent hits on Hankins are the same thing that gets said about just about every DT that comes out. He was borderline dominant in the beginning of the season, didn't maintain that level of play (though I read somewhere late he picked it back up) and now people say that's a result of lack of motivation or whatever. Couldn't possibly be that offenses saw what he was doing early and started compensating to defend against him. Couldn't be that almost no one maintains a level of dominance like that over the stretch of a whole season.

Who knows, maybe he really does have motivation issues, but any time I read that a DT has motivation issues because they didn't maintain an early surge I pretty much disregard it. DT is one of the toughest (if not THE toughest), most physical positions in football and very very few guys dominant from first whistle on opening day to final whistle on the season ender. As of now, before the combine and before the more detailed scouting videos come out on youtube (the best most of us have to go off of), Hankins is my guy if Star is gone.

Why do we need DT in the first again? Don't we do this every year? It was Marcell Darreus in 2011, then it was Fletcher Cox last year, now were back with this year with a DT that won't help us whatsoever for the next 2 to 3 years anymore than Dwan and Ron edwards will. Look at Fletcher Cox's stats, Dwan Edwards has better stats than him if you don't count the weeks Dwan missed with injury.

Let's get an impact position in the draft, Offensive Tackle is something we need and its hard to miss and its instant impact. DT have the same bust rate as QB's, we don't need to waste a first round pick on a player than won't contribute in a major way for the next 2 to 3 years.

I say draft OT in the first, or my teammate from high school Jonathan Cooper (shameless namedrop) who is rated around where we will pick as an OG and keep Bell on the outside with Hangartner as depth. Then get a Safety in the 2nd. Finally get a WR in free agency and were good to go.

    • I can get FOX on my bedroom TV but not in the living room.  Even then it's a circus act trying to get it to come in
    • espn analytics also had him like 130 in YAC and 90 something in terms of getting open.   I mean, Ricky Prohel had a significant role on that 2003 team.  He didn't start.  Because he wasn't good enough to do that.  If AT is starting for you, it's a problem.  my AT issue is he is taking all the oxygen in the slot.  Despite the fact he has good hands.....he keeps the ceiling incredibly low and THAT is going to be BY's key WR to go to (no matter who it is) given his style and attributes.   I have had the same issue with this BY since the day we drafted him.  You either have a BY O or you don't.  I'm cool either way.  But if you want BY to succeed your talent has to be slot, TE, and rec RB and it's got to be a YAC O.  You put big bodies on the outside and play chunk ball? Well, let's move on now.
