Ya know, I really thought that since Hurney was fired months ago they'd have all of this poo sorted out and would be able to announce the new GM very quickly. There's not going to be any better coaches left for the new GM to hire if they don't hire someone soon.

It's very early in the process for all the teams, this week is interview week. Coaches still on a team can't accept a job till after the playoff's anyway. They can agree in principle, but that's it. Same goes for GM's. Also there's plenty of coaches that are good prospect's that are playing this weekend that can't interview until the playoff's are over.

You still have to interview them and negotiate a contract. Even then you may not be the only offer they're weighing.

We couldn't even ask permission to interview until Monday.

I still lean heavily towards KC for some reason, they met for quite a while in Philly. The Interview with Reid in Arizona isn't expected to take place till Thursday now. Either one wouldn't surprise me, but KC is the only team that I think would fast track it and give him control over the GM decision as well.

I've had all day interviews before. It's not unusual if you have to get feedback from multiple people.
