I've had all day interviews before. It's not unusual if you have to get feedback from multiple people.

I've had long interviews, but never that long, even with multiple interviewers.

Now given the complexity of an NFL head coaching job, I can see it. Just never experienced it.

(and glad I haven't; being grilled that long would suck)

Wow, makes you think. If Reid is willing to coach the Chiefs of all teams, you have to think he would want to coach here no doubt. I think JR is waiting on purpose for all the top HC candidates to get hired sp he will have his excuse to keep Rivera

The Cardinals have now requested permission to interview Todd Haley.

Apparently, they prematurely thought permission had been granted, but then a team official advised them the decision was not actually up to Ben Roethlisberger and they should ignore his email. Said email reportedly read "Yes! YES! Absolutely yes! Please!"

Yep, they were. i was leaning kc on that one because of the gm thing and quickness. Cards still wanted to interview McCoy and werent receptive on the gk front. Didnt know it went that long, but figured it was a lengthy interview in philly.
