If the new GM didn't want cam as the future of the franchise how would you feel

I believe the next GM hired will be someone that buys into Cam. If not he won't be our GM. On a different note I also believe that the next GM is going to have to buy into RR. If JR was looking to go a different route RR would've been fired yesterday. I believe RR will be given 1 more year to make vast improvement or he is gone.

hahahaha who in their right mind wouldn't want Cam first of all. If someone didn't want Cam Newton then they know nothing about the NFL and shouldn't be in the league. Secondly, JR would never hire someone like. He is already planning to give Cam one of the largest contracts ever to keep him around for a very long time. None of this makes any sense and would never happen

Who could he find that's better in the draft or FA who we could realistically get? That's the first question a GM would ask himself even if JR gave him free reign, and the answer is, there isn't any.

This. Before a GM would assert that the guy you picked number 1 in the draft and has had 2 great seasons is not his guy, you better know that Aaron Rodgers or someone of his caliber is going to be a free agent and a lock to sign with you.

I would feel that the new GM is the dumbest *** on the planet and that my one hit of acid in college had made one seriously wicked flashback placing me back in the middle of a world where dogs talk, my face is dripping and I can fart, "Yankee Doodle Doo" out of my ass on que.

It would suck, but, with Teddy Bridgewater coming out in a year or two, we would be in prime position to get one of the most accurate and athletic quarterbacks in college football right now. The dude is a monster.

So we should dump him and put in Clausen so we would suck in the hopes that in a year or two we might suck enough to land Bridgewater.

Brilliant!!!!!!

If you are EVER going to suck on purpose for a player then put Pickles in during the OTA's and start his ass all year.

Downy for Clowney.

I wouldn't give 2 squirts of piss for Bridgewater.

Beating Florida is like beating my dick, not everyone can do it, but the list is still long.

    • Malcom Spence is the best player remaining, hope he’s there.
    • The era that you played in, and, more importantly, who you played with actually matters. Honestly, that's why these issues will be debated forever, as it's just difficult to say that this person or that person is better when you're discussing the passage of time. As for me, after Rice, Moss and maybe Megatron and T.O., there's probably a dozen or so guys that can be argued about to the cows come home. Personally, I'm not putting Fitz, Harrison, Johnson, Evans, or especially D-Hop, Jefferson, Chase or Hill definitely in front of Smitty (and Colston ain't even in the discussion). Context and all that stuff actually matters. Things like the triple crown matter.
    • Some of those guys? Yeah honestly you can.  I would 100% take Steve Smith over Larry Fitzgerald, Harrison, even Mike Evans. He is 100% a better player than those guys in his prime. If you look at the numbers Smith is historically under targeted in comparison to his contemporaries. He was only targeted 150 times or more only once in his career. Fitzgerald for example was targeted well above that 9 different seasons. Had Smith played with Peyton, Brady, Greatest Show on Turf, or even with Warner in Arizona he would broken records. His 2008 season was ridiculous accumulating 1400 yards in 13 games on less than 80 receptions. All time he also lost a season due to injury in 04, barely played WR as a rookie. Got robbed of 1k season with Clausen. Thats easily another 1800yds minimum that should have been tacked on to his #s. The only guys I’d say for certain are better than Smith are Rice, Moss, TO, Megatron, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown.
