Now we are making progress! (Dead serious)

Keeping a coach that is keeping his promise! He said nothing about Super Bowls in 2 years, he said we would get better each year......and we have! He said it would be a learning experience for everyone, including himself..........and it has! We have a coach that is backing up what he says and you guys want to get rid of him? Get your heads checked!

Rivera never promised the world and most importantly, the players so believe in him that they would risk looking like an idiot and take out ads promising the Super Bowl! The players never quit on him and they casted their votes, against New Orleans, on the fate of Rivera. The only way I can see not retaining him is if we are anything less that 8-8 next year! The man is trying to build a formidable annual contender and don't look now, but he may just be succeeding by being a man of his word.

Now, onto the GM! I laugh hysterically at these fans that call for youth and new age thinking by hiring Marc Ross! Let's be real, his career draft grade is a C at best! Quit giving him bonus points over Victor Cruz, we do not know the whole deal there. I have some youth and new age for you........Brandon Beane.

I know, I know! How dumb can I be to suggest that it may be ok for us to promote within. To promote a home grown body that will set hotel reservations if that's what it means to work your way up!

"Beane is dumb! Not sure why, but he isn't from another franchise! Gimme that thar Ross boy from the Giants! The one that drafted JPP and said, "hey, let's keep this Cruz feller!"<---------Quote of the Panther dumbasses

Not saying Beane is our guy or Ross or Gettleman, just stop and think things through......do you want a fan of the Panthers running the GM side or someone that is just in it for the money?

I leave you with some more priceless quotes:

"That thar Beane feller is a yes man! Ain't got dem balls to tell JR off! You know, tell JR what he really needs to hear!"

"That JR is just hear to make money! Sell ur PSL's!" <------(Duh, of course he is in it to make money!)

"Gettleman is too old, gimme the Ross guy! He a young one, a thinker and innovator! He took them to the super bowls!" <-------I think Beane is younger

There is a reason Beane is not being called by other teams around the league for their GM vacancy.

Because we are a losing franchise! But just because we are a losing franchise, doesn't mean that we do not have a hidden gem within the franchise! Keep in mind, I'm not endorsing Beane! I'm just not going to drink clorox or boycott games until a verdict is in about Beane

    • From NFL reporter Matt Lombardo: The Carolina Panthers, at the time of signing, committed the most money in NFL history to a free agent pass rusher, plucking Jaelan Phillips from the Philadelphia Eagles, on a deal that includes $80 million fully guaranteed. Now in Carolina, Phillips is the centerpiece of an ascending defense that produced just 30 sacks while backing into the NFC Playoffs. Only eight edge rushers produced more pressures than Phillips’ 73 last season, which included 57 hurries, according to Pro Football Focus, which makes it easy to see why a Panthers organization that is looking to take the next step would pay a major premium at a premium position. In a division as wide open as the NFC South, Phillips and Derrick Brown are as formidable a duo up front as there is, certainly good enough to power a playoff push.   https://bsky.app/profile/mattlombardo.bsky.social/post/3mgnnj2hojk27
    • Per NFL reporter Matt Lombardo, a lot of deals were "made in a steakhouse over the last few weeks" The deals that drop at 12:01 are the ones that were never really in doubt. They’re the marriages that had been quietly arranged for weeks. Meanwhile, the genuinely contested signings, the ones where multiple teams are legitimately competing for the same player, those tend to resolve in the days between tampering and the official start of the new league year on Wednesday. That’s why you see the most coveted players “agreeing to terms” today, and by Wednesday both players and teams are shopping for ideal fits to fill needs and the best opportunities rather than making decisions built largely on securing a market-setting bag. https://bsky.app/profile/mattlombardo.bsky.social/post/3mgn4nawxmc2o
