PFT's link to the article mentioned that Everette Brown's agent has a history of getting deals down well in advance of camp, (i.e. Joe Flacco, Kameron Wimbley) so that's encouraging news to say the least. The last thing we want is someone who could end up being a key player on D missing part of training camp.

A second rounder that's agent will argue that he deserves first round money because of what we gave up to get him. Not that he thinks he will get it but just to use as a bargaining chip. That could complicate things but I hope not.

I agree, he had enough hype around him, and the contents of our trade are well known so they have a lot of leverage, but hopefully it will still be done quickly

i think brown stated that he would be in camp and the contract would not stop him from being there. i guess we will see if he is a man of his word.

I would hate to see a situation like last year with Stewart develop where he doesn't get signed until the night before or something outrageously last minute.

I dont think this is a case like it was a few years ago with Matt Leinart in Arizona. He "could have been" the No. 1, but fact of the matter is he wasnt and so he should get that kind of money. Same thing here with Brown, he went at No.43. He should and will get payed like the No.43 pick should get.

No just Beason. He had a really bad agent that dose not even have a job now. Agents that dont know what there doing can really mess you up just ask Peppers.
