Sleeper alert: Brandon Kaufman, WR - Eastern Washington

I decided to post some of my favorite later round prospects just to discuss some different names for once. I'll start with Eastern Washington University wide out Brandon Kaufman. I have a friend that attends EWU and he raved to me about Kaufman all season long, and I was definitely wrong when I thought he was just being a homer.

If you missed out on Brandon Kaufmans performance in the playoffs this season, here are the Madden-like numbers from the few games he played.

In three playoff games, Kaufman averaged 193+ receiving yards/game versus Wagner, Illinois State, and Sam Houston State. Here were his game logs:

vs. Wagner - 10 rec, 174 yds, 0 TD, 47 long

vs. Illinois St. - 9 rec, 191 yds, 3 TD, 76 long

vs. Sam Houston St. - 9 rec, 215 yds, 3 TD, 60 long

Kaufman is listed at 6'5", 215 lbs. He finished the season with 93 catches, 1,850 yards, and 16 TD's.

I nailed the TY Hilton prediction last season for my sleeper pick, and I think Kaufman could be another star with a good QB.

Is this your scouting friend. Saw this posted on another web site. Sorry man, he has already been introduced to the world, your late.

I've been a member of FF for almost a decade and GBPACKMAN is a good friend and one of my favorite posters.

I'm introducing him to this website, why do you have to take it so literal?

Does anyone like talking about prospects anymore? Any time I post something somebody just tries to come with something to knock my post.

It is because you constantly try to discredit others. You never use any respect or subtlety when you disagree with another poster. If you would try to not be horrible to other people, I am sure people will stop trying to "knock your post."

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
