Mel Kiper says DT for the Panthers in the first

Carolina Panthers. Kiper has them taking Missouri defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson. I’m all for that move. The Panthers have been weak at defensive tackle since Kris Jenkins left the team after the 2007 season. It’s time to invest an early draft pick in the position.

we've been projected to take a 1st round DT the past like 3 mock drafts by just about everyone. I'd be ok with it unfortunately most top tier DTs go in the top 5, everyone else thats a projected first rounder is a project of some sort.

Exactly. What is really stupid is that this is this guys job. You would think since that's all he has to do he would research each team throughout the season, know what there strengths and weaknesses are and go from there. We obviously have Dwan who had 5 sacks this past season, but our NT will be 32 and is injury prone. This makes absolutely no sense.
