Audi's piloted parking technology

The first piloted cars will cost a lot tho. Will take few years for the price to drop. They can probably use sonar to gather information about surroundings, analyze it and process in matter of a second for this to work. Like bats do. Speed of sound is faster than speed of a car, so that should work.

Sonar? Sound?

ARSEN, they may not have a lot of electricity in the Ukraine or Russia or Georgia or wherever you're from, but there is this sort of amplified EM called a "laser"...

Seriously dude... We're way more advanced in technology than you might think. We had piloted technology in works for couples decades now...

I don't think that will ever happen. Almost all software have a single purpose. I doubt computers will ever have consciousness.

When you consider the amount of wireless networks, how easy basic encryption would be to break for a AI level computer, and the fact more and more things are connected to the "net" it's not that much of a stretch.

Sci-Fi nerd knowledge tells me the issue is the AI would basically become a virus, infecting non sentient electronics and giving them some level of awareness, all with the same goal of working for the "Queen" AI.

Time will tell. Computer processing speed doubles every year... Should be too long at this rate.

    • If it’s all the same to you guys, I’d like to use this thread for Tuesday nights game as well to keep this hate going. I have a feeling Tuesday vs the panthers is going to be violent in that arena.    @LinvilleGorgecan you please add “and Tuesday” to the game thread?  They play the Panthers again Tuesday. Thank you sir!
    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
