ESPN is just quoting an article from the upcoming SI issue, that has quotes from Ray Lewis in it. He can't deny it to one place and say something else to another and expect to keep integrity. They could hold Super Bowl in Alaska and you'll still see shirtless fans in the bleachers (alcohol in hand, of course).

I don't mind a cold weather superbowl so that some of these locales that are ignored can get their share of the spotlight. I'm gonna try and see if I can get tickets for this next one because MetLife stadium is like barely 25 minutes away from me. Obviously there are other metropoleis whose local fans need to buy a plane ticket and a hotel room to be able to witness a superbowl in person, and it does get repetitive seeing the game being played in the same 3 stadiums over and over again. Superdome, Raymond James Stadium, Sun Life Stadium, repeat.

I'm all for this, one of the reasons many fans love the game is because the NFL doesn't care if the weather is crap they play anyway. Super Bowl should be the same way.
