As PFT reported, the Giants have cut RB Ahmad Bradshaw.

Giants also release Chris Canty. He was due $6.25M in salary and a $250K workout bonus in 2013.

I've heard the Giants have more cuts coming, though nothing gets announced until the player is informed. #NYG

lots of cuts coming in from other teams beore too long.

It is that time of year in the NFL. There will be blood...

i think we'll be cutting one of our RBs shortly and probably more.

chris canty would be a nice guy to make room for, tho. still other guys will be available all over.

There are going to be ALOT of big name, high salaried players released in the next couple weeks.. many teams right up against the cap

our crappy cap situation isn't the only one. many teams are going to have to be making big cuts which will cause a flood on the market of quality players.

that equals value....lots of it. not just good players available, but affordable.

Also, in terms of "sign of things to come here," all of these guys gave immediate cap relief to the Giants. Again, cutting guys like DeAngelo and Beason does not offer us any cap relief, and we're already $10-$11m over the cap as it is.

Gross will restructure, and Chris Gamble will be cut.

true.

probably most cuts out of the gate will be those guys that won't hurt the cap much to cut.

    • "I'm not stunned," Hansbrough said. "We talked about it at halftime, you asked me 'you have to be pretty happy.' And I said, 'No I've seen this story before.' I've seen this happen. They just had some lapses in games where they just go still offensively, defensively. Their competitiveness just drops a little bit. They never step on anybody's throat. When they have a team with a little bit of a lead, they never step on the throat. It's been something all year." The only disagreement I'd have with Hansbrough's assessment is that it's not limited to just this year. It's been Hubert's entire tenure. Hallmarks of Hubert's teams are: streaky shooting, streaky focus, running your starters into the dirt because you won't sub, and absolutely embarrassingly bad plays put of timeouts. It all points straight to the coach. When the roster keeps changing but the core fundamental issues keep recurring, it's not the players.
    • Leafs are broken. Out of the playoffs and Matthews done for the year.  It's either a very dangerous game against a team who doesn't give a fug and will leave it all on the ice, or a team who's thrown in the towel with an effort to match. And, yes, I'm sitting in the Miami Airport waiting on my next flight. Will be back in Lenovo both 28 & 29 for the b2b.
    • I’m guessing this counts as top 30 visit.
