A) We don't have power lines so power outages aren't as frequent.

2) I've lived in the South for 36 years. Been here 1.5. I rarely get to enjoy snow.

D) NYC during a snow storm is quiet and beautiful.

we've had a nasty cold snap in the bay area...down into the 50s. Should be back up in the mid 60s over the weekend, though. Don't know how we survived!

My girlfriend lives in Mass and she said the state has issued a ban on the road and if you drive after 4pm today you are subject to a $500 fine and possible jail time.
