Luke for madden cover

Luke was the panthers nominee for the cover. Surprised to see him over Cam but excited to see him get some media attention. Guys a machine. Even though he's against Ray rice one can dream right?

They also have one old school player from each team. Ours was jake lmao. I guess it's well deserved though.

peyton hillis

but i would not vote luke...i think wilson deserves it since he got robbed of the roty....

While this does make the OP that you are responding to incorrect, because white people can get on the cover regardless of their position, I would also like to point out however Peyton Hillis was unique in that people voted for him BECAUSE he was white and it was possible for people to get him in via the internet campaigns being held at the time, as well as Cleveland Brown fans as a whole getting an opportunity to vote in one of their irrelevant players to the cover.

Regardless of all the crap I just typed, whose to say it wouldn't happen again? But maybe the publicity of the Peyton Hillis cover counteracts the internet vote and we never see that again.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
