June 1 cuts

I'm guessing it'll be James Anderson and then Gamble so we can regain his cap relief?

I think we just cut Gamble outright since his cap hit was about 9 million and his bonus left over was 2 million. So cutting him as a non-June 1st guy still saved us around 7 million in cap room this season and doesn't spread the hit.

Oh I see thanks for the clarification.

I know this is pretty much blasphemy to say, but if Hardy has another year like last year we may not be able to make enough room for both....

It would be simple we let Cam play out his 4th year hit him with the 5th year option and then tag him in 2015.

So risk giving him the option of walking away by dragging his contract out to the last possible moment? Or be put into the same situation that Baltimore just went through? No thanks....

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
