You would be mad if we drafted ____ in the 1st?

Sucking off a player because I think he's worth a top 15 pick like tons of other scouts? Trufant's best attributes an potential out weigh his contact issues. He is definitely one of the better cover corners and has been playing at a high level since he was a true freshman.

Where are you getting your info from?

That's fine, you can have your opinion about his potential being worth the flaws. I personally don't see him as a first round corner. He looks more like a 2nd round developmental guy that is put into packages until he gets better.

I'm getting my info from watching him play and researching different sources that are available. Every year I try to find as much information as I can on prospects at positions of need for the Panthers, especially guys perceived as first rounders, to kind of grasp where the Panthers could go. (Also my opinion seems to be more prevalent among scouts, but not that that really matters. 1st round potential but major question marks in physicality, tackling, and ball skills that send him down the boards). He has been shooting up boards because of the combine and a solid showing at the Senior Bowl, but in games he lacks any kind of consistency. Again, he could be a guy to get much better, but he is a boom or bust guy in the 1st round to me.

For what it's worth I was one of the table pounders last year for Kuechly when others were screaming for Fletcher Cox or Coples or others.

Sheldon Richardson. I actually think he's a really good player, but we've got Dwan back. He's far from a world beater, but he can hold down UT for another year or two, whilst a void still exists at NT. Richardson does nothing to address our run defense problems.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
