Keenan Allen's 40 time; 4.71, Luke Kuechly's 40 time; 4.5. Anyone concerned by Allen's speed? (Or lack thereof)

Honestly at 14 we need to hit a home run. I don't understand why people keep nuthugging this guy. There are plenty of things to give us pause. Take your pick. There are a number of wide receivers who are rated higher and have no issues and are 100%. People seem to take a position and won't change it even when the evidence against a player continues to mount. I am 100% convinced we won't pick Allen in the first. We might if he is available in the second..........

I'm not on the Patterson wagon per say but man, his potential is hard to ignore. I am confident we could get him the ball in creative ways while he really develops as a route runner and I believe Proehl could work wonders with him. That said, it is still a risk but could pay off. The thought of Cam and a more polished and matured Patterson would haunt defenses.

Incoherent = terrible use of of an adjective for message board impact.

You said he couldnt complete a coherent sentence, what is the opposite of coherent? Relax, i guess I was exaggerating, like you. You don't like Keenan it's ok, but I didn't find him to be mumbling. He answered the questions, joked around with all the guys. He was just more shy than the rest.

i dont know why we didnt bring Stills in for a visit, i think he is going to surprise some people.cocky, speedy WR from Cali.........................

plus his dad played in the league so he has the bloodlines, and fits this offense. hopefully we did work him out and can obtain a late 2nd or 3rd rounder to scoop him up.

His rawness scares the poo out of me, but when you look at the top 5 WRs in the league from last season and then look at this draft class, Patterson is admittedly the one who most closely fits that mold.

1. Calvin Johnson - 6'5" 236# 4.32 40

2. Andre Johnson - 6'3" 230# 4.41 40

3. Brandon Marshall - 6'4" 230# 4.52 40

4. Demaryius Thomas - 6'3" 230# 4.38 40

5. Vincent Jackson - 6'5" 230# 4.46 40

Cordarrelle Patterson - 6'2" 216# 4.42 40

He reminds me a lot of Demaryius Thomas..which is a good thing. He has more wiggles after the catch.

I wouldn't hate the pick...would not love it either but that all depends on who is still left on the board. I'd be happy with it and have full confidence that this staff and Cam can make him live up to his potential.
