Do we have to go offense this second pick?

You can have a potent offense without investing high picks in skill position players.... case in point

Saints have one of the most lethal offenses in the NFL

Brees- 2nd round

Colston- 7th round

Moore- undrafted

Graham- 3rd round

Thomas- Undrafted

Build your team in the trenches early and your 3-7th round skill players look even better on film.

Big WR or TE or OL should be the pick. Our D is fine at this point and we need to get Cam as many targets as possible. We haven't drafted a target for Cam since he's been in Carolina - all we have pretty much done is try and address our D. And no, I don't consider Adams as a weapon for Cam.

I'd be super super happy with Allen in the 2nd.

That has a lot to do with Dree Brees by himself

If we stick with the Big Guys, or Big Mollies, philosophy, It could be another Linemen. Maybe another G in the second. Our DL is set. Fix the OL next. Fill in depth with BPA the rest of the way..............Unless Hunter is there. He is the only skill player left worth the pick. IMO

I don't usually advocate for my homies. Dion Sims would make us better at TE. Not the best blocker, but he improved as a senior. Catches everything, and can run with the ball once he does. He even has decent speed. Second best TE on the board. So I say, give me this one. Oh, by the way. The last State Receiver we drafted, Moose, worked out well for us.

    • For this reason, BY will not play against the Packers. They will find a reason for him to stay on the bench again.
    • Well he quickly deflected the question about Rico's "almost 7 YPC." He is very polished and he transitioned well to non-answers and side steps. I can see why a guy like him was able to pull the wool over on guys like Tepper.
    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
