Like him or dont know anything about him, this dude shredded... While I do not agree with lots of their lyrics, Slayer fuggin threw down. Changed my musical tastes the day my older brother came home with 3 albums back in 1986, Spreading the Disease, Master of Puppets and the mighty Reign in Blood.. You will be missed Jeff, thank you for years.....

Not trying to nit pick, but Master of Puppets was Metallica.

That awkward moment when correcting something and needing to re-read lol.

Uh he is saying he got the holy trilogy of Thrash: Anthrax, Slayer n Metalica..although I was more a Megadeth Testament more than Anthrax.

He was not naming 3 Slayer albums.

'Preciate the clarification Tantric... Thats exactly it, I didnt have much time when I posted, alas the lack of clearly sayin my point...

I got more into Testament later, was deep when Practice What You Preach hit the racks, had Souls of Black but that one didnt do much for me. By then I had found Misfits, Atrophy, Pantera & others... I still listen to New Order & Practice pretty often....

Megadeth was cool on their 1st 3, owned Rust in Peace but that didnt do much for me either...

Megadeth was always horrible to me because of Dave Mustaine's vocals being atrocious...

I had Rust in Peace... but that was enough for me...

When it came to thrash, it was just Slayer and earlier Sepultura for me...

Tom Araya's vocals got on my nerves at times too, but not to the extent that Mustaine's did...

When I say megadeth nothing past Holy Wars or Hangar 18. some of the best riffige out there IMO.

Megadeth now is embarassing to see, hear and admit you liked them..Slayer is realtivally the Same band today as it was in the 80's.

Testament had 1.5 good albums and i really started to get into a band called Fates Warning and Sanctuary.

Now I just like all kinds of crap.. But hate everthing too like always.

Yous are giving Dave Mustaine way too much credit... I was talking about Killing is My Business, Peace Sells & So Far, So Good, So What..

Wow, havent heard mention of Fate's Warning in years, got a couple of their tapes from Columbia house back in the day...

Im now more of a hardcore fan, Madball, District9, Icepick, Subzero, Wisdom in Chains, etc... Still love the stuff I grew up on, Slayer, etc...
