I know what you saying, but the media is blowing this up, and we don't even know if he was even their, they taking him because he is young and he was friends with Odin Lloyd. If they wanted him that bad they shouldn't got him last week, but they try to play it cool so they can be on tv and ish.

They didn't take him then because they were building the case against him. They weren't going to make a move til they knew they had a case.

NFLN was reporting yesterday that for some weird reason (cock-up) the standard "unable to perform" or whatever it's called clause was not written into Hernandez's contract. So regardless of whether he was arrested or not he still gets his $2.5M over 2 years. Suck it Pats!

You don't understand because u never had to go threw situations that could leave you in jail, But La Pantera I agree with what you are saying but why would they cuff him just for a small charge they looking for the big fish and that's the murder. They went to early for me.

I've been in jail. And from the interactions I've seen on here id say Floppin has been in jail also.

I'm willing to bet that he'll be charged with murder. They built the case now its time to drop the hammer.

it doesn't matter how big or small the charges are against hernandez, everyone should have known that the moment he was put in cuffs would be the moment his time would be up in new england. the patriots are the type of organization that will have nothing to do with anyone who is associated with something as drastic as a homicide...no matter how much it costs them in the end.

Patriots waived TE Aaron Hernandez.

The Patriots clearly have no faith that Hernandez will be exonerated following his Wednesday morning arrest. They're willing to eat a ton of money in bonuses and guaranteed base salaries, and will be facing roughly $10 million in dead money against the salary cap over the next two seasons. The Pats are also left with perhaps the weakest group of pass-catchers in the entire NFL. Their statement: "A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do." Hernandez is now subject to waivers, meaning any team can submit a claim by 4 p.m. Thursday. We'd be shocked if anyone does.
