i had a family event on opening day 2009 and was going to miss most of that game.  i caught our opening drive on the radio and was pumped when we got up 7-0.  jake, fox, and the rest of the team had a lot to prove to everyone after the playoff debacle and i really had a good feeling after we struck first.

 

the next time i was able to get a status update on the game it was halftime and the eagles were shithousing us 31-10.

I figured we made an offer but like the rest of them this year it is a low offer. He is likely shopping around to see if he can beat it. If he cant then he will sign. Otherwise he will either go elsewhere or try and get a little more. He isn't the first guy who took some time to sign.
