I figured we made an offer but like the rest of them this year it is a low offer. He is likely shopping around to see if he can beat it. If he cant then he will sign. Otherwise he will either go elsewhere or try and get a little more. He isn't the first guy who took some time to sign.

I agree that Godfrey is an okay/good player, but he's not going to save our defense. Most Tight Ends have have their ways with the guy over the years.

There is ZERO rush to get the contract signed.
