Ha I got lost reading all the other sports news. Atlanta's promising rookie Chipper Jones, Mariners (my favorite team) going down 3-2 with Orel Hershiser striking out Griffey.

i was at game 7 vs the Colts that year

I was there with my 2 at-the-time-young kids, to the right behind the Panther's bench about 5 rows up.  I remember how bad those metal benches were.  After that game I found a route to Clemson taking I-40 instead of driving to Charlotte & taking I-85.  No traffic problems until we got to Clemson.

 I was there, all of 17 years old.

 

 Dont remember much other than I using my savings to buy a used car (that turned out to be a darn fine car) more or less to drive down there, only to have some clown take a dump on my rear bumper.

I was at the Panthers Jaguars game in Death Valley.

I was there.. Took leave from the Army.. flew into Charlotte from Arizona.  Rented car.. drove to Georgetown S.C. to see family then back up to Clemson, then back to Charlotte.  Lost my ticket stubs and the hat I bought in the Phoenix Airport..........

I remember the tailgating right beside the stadium (only good thing about that horrible shitstain of a stadium, college, and town) then timing it right so we followed the team buses back to the Charlotte area after the games, with their police escort on the small roads we made awesome time.
