I think there's still that hope that he flashes in preseason and we're able to get even a tiny bit of trade value for him.

He is owed money this year on or off the roster.

 

Does not get into trouble off the field.

 

Seems to work hard, but is just not starter material.

Agree 100% with Fuzz.

It would be one thing if he was a straight up ass and he was on a non guaranteed contract.

He is genuinely a nice guy and doesn't deserve the sh*t that people give him.

He would probably do pretty well in an Andy Reid coached O, in fact being a backup in KC would not surprise me in the least after this year.

A big reason he's still here is also because its TC and soon to be preseason. Gotta have plenty of arms to throw the football. He's still under contract so why not Pickles? Lord knows we don't want to play too much of Cam in the preseason, and DA as well for that matter.

Trust me, the coaching staff isn't going to take your personal feelings on Clausen into consideration when making roster decisions.

Really? 94% of Clausen's salary is guaranteed. You really want to throw away $1M + the new salary just to carry a different 53rd man on the roster who won't dress?
