Who has the bigger year, Johnson or Hardy?

Well Hardy is getting 50 sacks this year so CJ will follow him up with 49.5.

Hardy has the bigger year. Two great pass rushers is a good problem to have.

How are we quantifying performance, in the name of sacks? I feel like the sacks would be close enough for the two of them. CJ seems to be the better run defender even though Hardy's getting better at that by the year.

CJ has a knack for forcing fumbles as well. I think he edges Hardy in that department this season.

I think it's a case of six of one, a half dozen of the other. I believe the difference - and the numbers they post - between them will be so close as to be insignificant. It's a great place to be in, where if one is doubled, the other is left open to get penetration. Add in the addition of a pair of DTs who can press the pocket - and in doing so, demand additional attention themselves - and you have Sean McDermott licking his chops in anticipation of what this D can accomplish. Besides, I find myself looking at Kraken and CJ as a tandem talent these days, the both made better by the presence of each other. What they can accomplish together, to me, far exceeds anything they might accomplish by themselves.
