If we beat the Seahawks week one, will the talking heads around the NFL jump on the Panthers nuts or continue to overlook us?

Obviously you take the opinions of idiots like Steven A., Skip Bayless, and Colin Cowherd with a grain of salt, but with all those guys talking so highly about Seattle, if we beat them week 1, will people be talking about the fact that the Panthers WON or will they talk more about Seattle LOSING?

seattle losing would be the biggest story, but it won't be much. excuses will be given.

people won't pay attention to the panthers until they are have at least 3 more wins than losses.

no one has any reason to pay attention to the panthers until they have won several more games than they've lost. winning one game against any team won't matter. winning several early instead of losing several will.

If we beat Seattle the only way they talk about the Panthers is if we really beat them by a lot and were in complete control of the game. That is the only way they will talk about us on both network, well check that if Cam has a bad game they will talk about us on both networks and never people hear the end of it.

Do we really care what the talking heads say? I for one don't give a damn as long as we win.

No, not really. It would however be f*cking nice to turn on ESPN or NFLN and not have to hear about the same 5 teams and the same sh*t, day after day, week after week.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
