Scott gets time in with the first string, and as a complete skeptic, I gotta say he looks pretty good.

 

Not once was he beat by his man, and this was against the first string Baltimore defense in the third preseason game.

 

His strength definitely looks like the running game. On screens he is pretty slow to get to the outside, not so great there.

 

Watching him play against Pittsburgh second stringers and it becomes pretty clear he may be a starter in this league.

 

I am cautiously optimistic.

Who knows honestly... Either this is the best effort we can make at getting a respectable Oline prepared this late in the game or Gettleman has this gift of personnel evaluation that we're not used to and Scott will hold his own
