I'm very sorry to hear that. Apparently there must have been some sort of trauma to induce a hernia of that magnitude.

What you need to do is now go rescue a kitten/cat.  Obviously, you are meant to do such a thing.  They are easy to take care of and usually pretty tough and don't require a lot of vet bills, way less than a dog.  Thanks for at least giving a crap about the kitten, most wouldn't.  Props to everyone saying no to declaw, it's not only physically inhumane, it's really messes with their mental stability.  I bought my 2 cats one of those cat houses at Petsmart with scratching post, etc, and they love it.  Good luck.

So sorry for the kitten but how wonderful that he was loved.  Thanks for all you did to rescue him and try to give him a chance.  I do think that being loved is important...glad he had that.

 

I am also sorry for you because I am sure you are very saddened.  Cats are cool.
