Its been a double-butt kind of morning.  One hot one outside.  One hot one inside.  Been rolling both of them around a little so far.

 

Happy, Happy, Panther Day!

 

Oh yeah.  Hats off to the travelers and rebel-rousers who will be present.  Be loud and represent!  I myself have not darkened the doors of BofA since that fateful Saturday night.  Hopefully today will prove to be the beginning of the end of my meaningless boycott.  Days like today sure make it hard to be a stubborn old asshole.  

 

Go Panthers.  Beat the Hags!!

anyone notice that when cam blows on his hands before the first snap, its a throwing play; but when he doesn't blow on his hands it is a running play?

not real sure why i just thought of that...its been a long day

He has done that before the first snap of every game since HS....it isn't tipping off anything

Seattles DE Cliff Avril is doubtful today... Didn't know if we were tracking that... But if he's out I'm starting DeAngelo in Fantasy

that's big for Carolina.  The Hawks are already down two rush ends and as good as Michael Bennett is, he's a left end.  So they might have to push Bennett right, and he's still potent as a rusher, but then Red Bryant might have to play some passing downs - and he's not built to rush the passer at all.

      when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying

      I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
